The content on this website, including our guides and the siding calculator, is general information for homeowners. It is not a quote, an inspection or professional advice for your specific house. Calculator results are rough estimates only.

4. Estimates

Estimates are free. A written estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the time of the visit. Conditions hidden behind existing siding, such as rotted sheathing or failed house wrap, can't always be known in advance. If we find them, we will show you and explain any change in price before doing the extra work.

5. Agreements and Payment

Work begins only after you approve a written estimate or agreement. Payment terms, schedule and scope are confirmed in that agreement. Prices are in US dollars.

6. Scheduling and Weather

Siding work depends on weather. Rain, extreme cold and storms can delay start dates and timelines. We will keep you informed of any changes.

7. Warranties

Siding products carry manufacturer warranties. Workmanship warranty terms, if any, are stated in writing in your agreement. Warranties don't cover damage from storms, impacts, settling or lack of maintenance after the work is done.

8. Insurance Claims

We can provide photos and a written estimate of storm damage for you to share with your insurer. We do not file claims, act as a public adjuster or guarantee what your policy will cover.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Grand Rapids Siding Contractors is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or its content.
